Job Summary

This opportunity is at FreeWheel, a Comcast Company, and will be dedicated to Beeswax, a newly acquired programmatic offering. As a Strategic Partnerships Associate, you will act as the primary day-to-day relationship owner for a portfolio of exchange partners. Using your knowledge of programmatic advertising transactions, you will ensure that the way Beeswax works with exchanges is optimized for the needs of our business and our clients. You will be the subject-matter expert on these partners, coordinating and managing partner-related projects with Beeswax’s product, sales, client services and engineering teams. You will also become an expert in the metrics which define each partnership, keeping the organization informed about the health of those partnerships and making recommendations for improvements.

Job Description

We are looking for a Strategic Partnerships Associate to own relationships with our critically important programmatic exchange partners. Beeswax partners with over 50 ad exchanges around the world, and maintaining excellent commercial and operational relationships with this portfolio of partners is critical to the ongoing success and growth of our platform. 

As a Strategic Partnerships Associate, you will act as the primary day-to-day relationship owner for a portfolio of exchange partners.  Using your knowledge of programmatic advertising transactions, you will ensure that the way Beeswax works with exchanges is optimized for the needs of our business and our clients.  You will be the subject-matter expert on these partners, coordinating and managing partner-related projects with Beeswax’s product, sales, client services and engineering teams.  You will also become an expert in the metrics which define each partnership, keeping the organization informed about the health of those partnerships and making recommendations for improvements. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Acting as the primary point-of-contact between exchange partners and Beeswax employees and clients

  • Optimizing the operational details of exchange partner integrations, both in response to individual client needs and as part of ongoing proactive efforts

  • Analyzing the data gathered from exchange partnerships to inform strategic decision making, assist with client requests, minimize billing discrepancies, etc

  • Collaborate with exchange partners to uncover new opportunities to expand partnerships, including expansions and improvements to exchange integrations, joint marketing and sales efforts, unique inventory packages and/or internal training opportunities

  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation about the capabilities of individual exchanges and how they have partnered with Beeswax 

 

Requirements Include

-B.S. or B.A. degree 

-2-4 years' experience in programmatic advertising, ideally at a DSP or SSP; specific experience with DSP/SSP commercial and technical partnerships preferred 

-Data driven and analytical, SQL and Excel experience a must 

-Relationship builder who can build deep, long-term, trusted partnerships 

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to tailor communication style for varying levels of seniority and technical expertise 

-Intellectually curious self-starter
