About the Team

On the Merchant Strategy & Ops team, our mission is to have best-in class restaurant selection, build cutting edge services for our merchants to grow their business, and help our partners operate. Our international launch team builds outstanding selection as we enter new geographies, and working with our global counterparts to share best practices and key insights.

About the Role

As Senior Manager of Launch Selection, you will be responsible for setting, driving, and building on the selection strategy in new international geographies, including: defining our selection growth goals, growing our international merchant base, and building playbooks to help our teams move faster.

You will report directly to the International Merchant Launch Lead.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Build the Selection Strategy – You will build the strategy for selection health at the market level, including which merchants we need and how to get them.
  • Run the Plan to Delivery – You will not just have the vision, but work on the plans to bring your strategy to life. You will bring go-to-market planning for new geographies to help grow our merchant base and increase value to our customer audiences.
  • Make Data-driven Decisions – You will build models to establish selection success, product KPIs, and support our teams. You will use data-driven insights to run experiments on everything from new tests to existing optimization.
  • Build Relationships – You will work with multiple partners (Sales, Operations, Product, and General Managers) to ensure the selection vision and plans are understood around the business, and teams are motivated to engage and land important initiatives.

We're excited about you because…

  • You can translate high-level goals into applicable plans.
  • You let data tell the story and you're comfortable modeling in MS-Excel. *SQL knowledge will be helpful.
  • You have 5 or more years of work experience, specifically across: consulting / strategy / operations / technology / banking.
  • High-growth or early-stage startup experience
  • You tell the story to different audiences and through different mediums - strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • You have a proven track record as a people manager & an ability to build a diverse & inclusive culture.
  • You have international work / travel / living experience, and have an eagerness to travel and live abroad.
