Job Description:

Insight Global is looking for a Full Stack Java Developer to join one of our largest financial services clients sitting in Downtown Manhattan, Pittsburgh or NJ (remote to start). This person will be joining Asset Servicing Team where they have kicked off a multiyear investment to grow their Custody technology. The growth will include investments in digital innovation that will increase speed to market as well as investment in new asset classes like cryptocurrencies. This group is initiating a target state architecture that supports all elements of Custody by building modern distributed applications over their existing technologies. This Senior Developer will assist in hands-on development for their high volume applications using Java 8, Spring Boot and Angular 8/9. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with Java for backend development and Angular / JavaScript front end technologies. The candidate should also have experience within the financial services domain or will be tasked with understanding trade, income payments and corporate action within the Cash and Custody group.


-Financial services background

-Knowledge on SWIFT message types

-Experience withcode testing tools (Junit, Mockito, Cucumber)
-7+ years of full stack development experience with Java (version 8)

-Experience working with Angular (version 8/9)

-Strong experience with Spring Boot

-Database experience (Oracle, No-SQL, MongoDB, etc.)

-Working with critical, high availability, production applications

-Cloud experience

-Messaging experience (Kafka or MQ Series)
