The Grants Manager (GM) works as a core member of the research
administration team with responsibility for a defined portfolio of
DCAP grants and PIs. Working closely with other members of the
Research Administration team, the GM contributes to all aspects of
research administration. This position reports to the Director,
Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Administration and supervises the
To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree, Masters preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of specific experience in research grants
Highly reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently as
well as in coordination with team on complex grant portfolio.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage confidential
Demonstrated ability to be organized, be flexible in an environment
which requires continuous monitoring of priorities, proven ability
to meet deadlines.
Strong written and communication skills.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Access
and Internet applications.
Masters degree preferred. Specific experience in research grants
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate
with all levels of the organization.
