Job DescriptionBeyond is a design and technology agency made up
of passionate people focused on creating and delivering beautiful
experiences for clients including Google, Snapchat, Facebook,
Netflix, Mont Blanc and the Royal College of Art.Role OverviewWe're
looking for a collaborative Product Strategist who's looking for
their next challenge. You have experience summarizing main insights
that set a strategic direction for a product. An understanding of
how to collaborate across content, design and technology, and how
to work with product management to develop a product roadmap is
important.Our Product & Strategy team is fascinated by user
behavior, business and technology strategy, cultural trends and new
tech. You'll work with clients and teams across the organization
and in multiple locations to envision, architect and develop new
products. While a quantitative or technical background will be
beneficial in this role, we need someone with the ability to
visualize and create a story around product strategies and
solutions for clients and our teams. You will report to the
Director, Strategy.Most of all, you speak on behalf of the user and
their needs. You love asking why and digging deeper. You are
excited to collaborate with fun, experienced folks in an Agile

conversation.A note on timezones: You will work with teams in
California, New York, London and Portugal. We believe an EST-based
candidate is best positioned to work with each of these time zones
within normal business hours.
RequirementsAs a Product Strategist at Beyond, you will:
- Gather and summarize strategy, audience, performance, and
metrics documentation relating to a product
- Map out current and target product journeys. Develop
frameworks, block diagrams, user flows and other visualized
collateral that directly feed into content, UX, design and
technology workflows.
- Establish user personas or archetypes using primary research
insights or adapting previous versions from clients.
- Conduct qualitative or quantitative user research, partner or
user interviews. Manage research vendor partners.
- Distill and play back main insights from product data sets,
interviews and competitor/market analysis.
- Craft product value proposition statements and build enthusiasm
for it among teams and clients.
- Design and facilitate client and internal working sessions:
know what techniques to use, bring out everybody's insights, guide
decisions.
- Identify prioritization frameworks and criteria to help create
a plan or roadmap.
- Work with design and tech to determine the scope of product
releases using suitable methods such as story mapping.
- Support business development activities (consulting on scopes
of work, strategy activities, and pitches).As a Product Strategist
at Beyond, we'd like you to bring:
- 3+ years experience in a product strategy space, either on an
in-house Product team or at an agency.
- Some experience with lean, qualitative or quantitative user
research methods that allow you to identify the right method for
the need or goal.
- Ability to analyze data, design experiments, and identify the
right metrics or OKRs for a product.
- Examples of developing presentations and documentation that
shows an end-to-end product vision with a view of release
features.
