The Assistant Electronics Buyer position is for you, if you would
enjoy:
Assisting the Buyer and Director in driving top line results in
Electronics and Travel while maintaining margin, inventory levels
and supply.
Developing plans and work to ensure all items are uploaded in the
portal and orders are sent to Vendors in a timely way to support
business.
Working a hybrid schedule out of our East Rutherford, NJ
office.
Key Accountabilities - Your team is counting on you as an Assistant
Electronics Buyer t to:
Work with Planners to understand sell through and performance by
Vendor.
Assist Buyer and Director in developing product plans and follow
through with Vendors in placing orders providing tracking to
stores.
Review projected orders and replenishments where applicable with
Buyer ad Director.
Assist Buyer and Director in maintaining files to ensure they are
current and up-to-date.
Participate in weekly and bi-weekly calls and assist or follow
through as needed.
Interact with operations as needed
Assist in updating planograms as needed.
Work with Director to compile files for All Stores
Continue to leverage industry trend data to suggest new items and
innovation.
Continue to study industry and attend shows as needed to grow
skills
Assistant Electronics Buyer Required Qualifications:
5 years' prior experience with increasing responsibility
Strong analytical skills (i.e. using excel)
Excellent attention to detail
Follow through on open items and tasks
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work individually and as part of a team
Ability to adapt as needed by the demands of the business
