The roleThis position will be responsible for assisting the bartenders in providing quality service to all guests who come to Soho House. Supporting the management team as needed. Main Duties

• Maintain all steps in the Steps of Service program with each patron and employee you may come in contact with
• Replenish paper goods (i.e., cups, napkins, etc.) at bars
• Assist bartenders in cleaning and maintaining bars, i.e. filling ice bins, etc
• Stock bars with alcoholic beverages including liquor, wine, beer, drink mixes
• Stock non-alcoholic beverages including soda, juices, and carbon dioxide at bars
• Stock liquor room with all supplies including liquor, beer, wine, dry goods, soda, etc
• Assist in prepping garnishes for daily operation.
• Assist cleaning and stocking bars with appropriate glassware
• Maintain cleanliness of liquor rooms, beer coolers, and bars including sweeping, mopping, take out the trash, etc
• Assist with setting up for banquets and private functions including stocking alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and paper products.
• Complete side work responsibilities.
• Make change for guests.
• Run cashier register as needed.
• Help with inventories.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager and/or Bartender Captain.RequirementsRequired Skills/Qualifications:
  • Basic verbal communication skills
    • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
    • Detail oriented
    • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environmentPhysical Requirements:
      • Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands
      • Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
      • Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others
      • Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 40 pounds
