enjoying a unique perspective of New York City. Job DescriptionThe
Operations Division at FHL is composed of several departments and
teams: Facilities & Engineering, Horticulture, Production,
Custodial, Visitor Services, and Operations Administration. As a
member of the Operations Administration team, the Operations Data
Coordinator plays a key role in administering the information
systems vital to the High Lines daily and long-term operations.
This role will be supported and mentored by the Park Operations
Manager and will work alongside other members of the Operations
Administration team on a day-to-day basis. This is a part-time,
year-round, non-exempt position that reports to the Park Operations
Manager.The High Line requires all employees to be fully vaccinated
for COVID-19 unless a medical or religious accommodation is needed
in accordance with applicable law.Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for the development of the High Line Management Plan
(HLMP) including interface development and map creation Maintain
the operational databases and geographic information systems (GIS)
which include data collected by the Operations division driving
HLMP, participating in regular data reviews and updates Work
closely with Park Operations Manager and each department within the
Operations division to design the data collection process and
synthesize departmental-related data for HLMP. May include some
fieldwork. o Produce weekly visitation data reports and predict
visitation based on daily visitor counts and long-term patterns. o
Record and track custodial statistics with field staff o Track
event production-related activities o Maintain weekly horticulture
activities and plant records and maps. o Support the Facilities
department through routine review, work order updates, and
preventative maintenance schedules Work closely with Park
Operations Manager to create predictive reports based on trends and
acquired data that will used to inform and aid planning in
Operations Administer the Cartegraph Operations Management System,
troubleshoot system errors, and open service tickets when needed
Provide day-to-day technical support for Operations staff using
existing information systems Interpret construction drawings,
as-builts, and project documentation to update and generate maps
for landscape, infrastructure, and operations of the High Line in
collaboration with Planning & Design department Participate in the
standardization of methods of reporting and map creation Maintain
metadata and documentation of information systems Represent High
Line Operations at meetings and
presentationsRequirementsQualifications The High Line is guided by

collaborate with colleagues in a fast-paced environment Ability to
interpret design and construction drawings Preferred College or
University Degree in Geography, Urban Planning, or a related field
Experience with some combination of ArcGIS Desktop and Server,
PostgreSQL, PostGIS, QGIS, Git, Python, R, AutoCAD, MS Office
Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite Experience working in a park,
community garden, botanical garden, community garden or other green
space, and/or non-traditional setting
