Job Description:
Reporting to the HRIS Manager, the HRIS & Compensation
Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining data
integrity in the Dayforce system, managing the HRIS email box, and
supporting the HR Team and other departments with various system
and reporting needs. Additionally, with dotted-line reporting to
Compensation Manager, this position is responsible for supporting
general compensation program administration, reporting and
communication. Strong focus on broad-based compensation and ongoing
compensation administration, including sales compensation plan
management and administration.
Primary Responsibilities:
--- Attend to tickets and inquiries sent to the HRIS Mailbox
--- Troubleshoot system and data errors and provide resolutions,
guidance and recommendations to the end-user
--- Actively ensure HR data integrity in the Human Capital
Management (HCM) system
--- Provide system support to different teams inside and out of
HR
--- Provide data and general analysis support to the Compensation
Manager across various current and future compensation efforts:
o Incentive Pay Programs (Sales Bonus, SPIFF, Shrink, etc.)
o Service Rewards
o Benchmarking
o Salary Guidelines
o Job Management
--- Generate compensation-related reporting for salary planning,
performance management processes, and for assessing internal equity
and external market competitiveness for Corporate and Storeline
employee groups
Secondary Responsibilities:
--- Update and/or create HR data reports
--- Participate in ongoing system analysis and release/enhancement
rollouts throughout the year
--- Assist with quarterly HR metrics reporting
--- Other duties as assigned by HRIS Manager
Position Requirements:
--- 2+ years of HR experience, preferably direct experience dealing
with HR data
--- At least 1 year of HRIS experience. Direct experience with
Dayforce is preferred
--- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications especially
Excel (e.g. Vlookups, Ifs, Pivot Tables, etc.), Access and Word
--- Attentive, autonomous, and adept to deal with ambiguity
--- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and sensitivity in
dealing with HR data
--- Strong attention to detail
--- Ability to evaluate problems, apply knowledge and produce quick
results
--- High level of responsiveness and strong customer service
focus
--- Strong written and oral communication skills; works well in a
team environment
--- Experience in a retail and/or field environment highly
desirable.
