The client is a financial technology company founded in 2007, that provides funding to small business a rapidly growing, high-growth Series B ($52M), SaaS digital lending platform start-up disrupting a $1.4 Trillion dollar industry. The has a fully configurable SaaS platform that incorporates artificial intelligence & machine learning to provide a full end-to-end solution in the SMB, Commercial, and Consumer lending space. As our partners embark on a digital transformation of their business, our solution increases operational efficiencies, enhances risk controls, and enables overall business growth. In the 2021 $284B Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), Client is 1 among 5000 lenders approved by the Small Business Administration, with over 180,000 approved loans. About this role: The Business Development Representative plays a key role in executing the company's expansion strategy. We are looking for a highly driven individual to join our team to develop new executive relationships, identify their unique challenges, and secure new opportunities with financial service providers. The role combines prospecting, consulting, strategic thinking, and collaboration. Responsibilities: This position will work and report to the SVP of Sales to grow our technology footprint, within the North America-US financial services marketplace. Responsible for business development efforts, including research, calling, and emailing. Develop in-depth knowledge of target accounts to plan approach. Interface with key decision makers and senior leaders to uncover pain points. Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and effectively articulate value. Requirements/Key Attributes: 3 years of experience in sales, business development, and/or strategic partnerships. Bachelor---s degree in business or a related field, graduate degree preferred. Highly motivated with the ability to work in a face paced environment and makes things happen. Sales experience in technology SaaS or financial services. Communication: Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with proficiency in PowerPoint. Creativity & Innovation: Generates new and innovative approaches to problems.
