Visit us at to learn more about us.At AEIS, the Senior Account Executive is a senior sales and business development associate who serves as the primary relationship owner for an assigned group of AEIS accounts with responsibility for retention and growth. These accounts are largely general contractors, and also include other sub- contractors across disciplines within the general construction industry. This position reports dually to the VP of Sales and the President of the company.The job is overwhelmingly meeting with our accounts. In these meetings, the Senior Account Executive will be deepening our relationships by serving our customers' needs through the sales of our inspection services. While most of the projects AEIS works on follow a bid process, the success of our business depends upon the quality of relationships and service provided to our accounts by the Senior Account Executive. Preparing and delivering highly engaging presentations to stakeholders at all levels, maintaining quality relationships that maintain the integrity and quality of everything behind the AEIS brand, being attuned to upcoming projects thru constant communication with your accounts, and guiding our sales support team members in preparing our proposals so that we are consistently positioned to win.JOB DUTIES include but are not limited to:* Visit with clients at their offices and in other offsite locations around the tri-state area. Also can be via phone and video conference although this is slowing down.* Maintain records of all activities in our CRM, Hubspot.* Attend weekly sales meetings at AEIS and keep the company abreast of your weekly activities, news on projects, and issues both positive and needing attention with our customers.* Oversee the development of RFP responses, proposals, and other customer communications,* Attend networking events, marketing events, and other gatherings to promote our brand and services* Achieving Activity and Sales Targets.POSITION REQUIREMENTS* Represent the company by consistently demonstrating the understanding and modeling of company's mission and values* Quick and motivated learner; highly organized; sharp thinker; passion for learning and growing in one's field and as a person* Ability to partner with clients and recommend solutions and consistently adding value to their business; good collaborator and ability to excel in a team setting;* Persuasive and goal-oriented* Ability to establish and manage executive level customer relationships* Ability to handle multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously* Build and maintain a consistently strong pipeline* Provide a consultative sales approach to clients* Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor* Able to professionally, respectfully, and confidently communicate with customers* This is a full time position, based on site at our South Plainfield location, however this position will be out of the office meeting with customers on a regular basis.QUALIFICATIONS* Have worked in and around the construction accounts in the tri-state area.* Have a working knowledge of the large-scale construction industry. Knowledge of the key players in the industry.* Will have accomplished the following:* Experience independently closing individual projects with revenue over $1M* Average deal size $500K-3.0M* Ability and experience selling to all levels within the organization including C-Suite level* Experience managing and directing the entire sales cycle from beginning to close* Track record in closing large, complex deals* Candidate will be strategic in finding new business using technical knowledge and skillset* Have well-established analytical and technical ability and experiences* Good executive presence, communication skills, and credibility* Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned goals and targets* Attentive to forecasting and business reporting responsibilities* At least an intermediate level in using Microsoft Office products.
