What we are buildingEvery year people waste billions of hours on menial computer work like data entry, form completion, and claims processing. Mimica empowers people to train computers to do their menial work in the same way they train a human being: by demonstration. If everyone in the world delegates this work to Mimica, we'll return billions of hours of time to businesses and people.
As a first step toward this vision, our current product records employees as they work on their computers and automatically generates business process maps of their tasks. These maps help large enterprises like Dell and AT&T identify automation opportunities and accelerate the automation of their processes.
What you will ownAs one of our first sales hires, you will be at the cutting edge of Mimica's growth. You will develop a deep understanding of our products, market, and sales process and your mission will be to fuel the sales pipeline and drive net new business meetings. You will own multi-channel outreach and evangelize Mimica with key decision-makers across all levels and business types.
Part of your day-to-day

  • Sourcing leads and new business opportunities and helping to build and prioritize strategic target account lists
  • Executing targeted outbound campaigns (emails, Linkedin, cold calls, social media) and following up with inbound leads
  • Qualifying opportunities and lining up meetings to hand off to the Account Executives
  • Participating in discovery calls with senior decision-makers in target and prospect accounts and slowly starting to lead prospecting activities
  • Tracking pipeline and keeping the CRM up to date with info about accounts, deal size, status, etc. to allow for revenue forecasting
  • Evangelizing our brand and value proposition at customer meetings, events, conferences, and through social media
  • Helping continuously improve and optimize our sales strategies, playbook and tools
    • Proven ability to generate pipeline through outbound activity and own the entire business development process
    • Passion for developing skills across the sales lifecycle - prospecting, qualifying, and closing complex deals
    • Resourcefulness and a relentless attitude toward generating leads and achieving quotas
    • Empathy and product intuition - building relationships based on trust and active listening and collaborating with peers and prospects to evolve Mimica's value proposition
    • Desire to continuously learn and improve yourself and your environment
    • Superior interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills---Bonus
      • Experience researching and building new and existing accounts - adding contacts, managing nurture sequences, and coordinating discovery meetings
      • working knowledge of modern sales development practices, frameworks and tools
      • Proven interest in AI, ML, or automation
      • Familiarity working within an early-stage startup environment - delivering value quickly and iteratively
