Administrator is responsible for assisting the Global Mobility Team
with US International mobility moves to and from all countries with
an H&M presence and supports mobility for North American
countries.This position is based in New York, NY, within our Human
Resources function and reports to our Global Mobility
Specialist.This is a project-based role for a length of 6 months.
Continued employment will be reassessed at the end of the project
timeframe.Core Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supports global mobility processes and policies for Domestic
and International moves
- Manages employee databases, updates, and manages employee
files
- Maintains SharePoint files, including tracker and access for US
mobility stakeholders
- Track assignment life cycle for all transfers and expatriate
employees
- Work with third-party suppliers, immigration, tax, and shipping
to initiate via vendor platforms and internal process flows
- Oversee day-to-day updates on immigration and assignments
- Support the immigration process for L-1 visas, EAD, and
immigration petitions (permanent residence sponsorship), as it
relates to extensions, amendments, and terminations
- Supports onboarding of relocating employees (LTA/GT) and
foreign local hires (ILEs), and basic inquiries
- Creates and follows approval process for payment requests for
lump sums and relocation allowances
- Provides excellent customer experience to all inbound foreign
nationals with on-the-ground support to complement the RMC
counselor's relocation assistance
- Provide accurate and in-depth reporting to Global Mobility
Specialist
- Supports Ad-hoc projectsQualificationsWhat You'll Need to
Succeed:
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, Finance, or relevant
business field preferred or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in a mobility role or
transferrable skills
- Experience with international HR and/or immigration
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Detailed reporting capabilities
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
- Ability to be neutral and confidential and deal with sensitive
information; a high level of confidentiality is required
- Knowledge of general HR practices, policies, and
guidelines
- Strong customer service orientation, including a friendly,
helpful, and professional demeanor
- Proven organizational and analytical skillsJob Status: Salary,
