The Creative and Marketing team at Adecco is recruiting for a Fabric Development & Sourcing Specialist for a modern fashion brand known for their bright, colorful, and feminine aesthetic! Primary Purpose: Responsible for leading the team with the development, commercialization and timely delivery of innovative Fabrics & Trims from design concept through production. • Working directly with Lead Designers to develop & execute seasonal material requests & any overarching business needs.
• Launch direct with our suppliers new material developments and work in partnership with overseas team to determine allocation strategy and work through technical details to ensure suitable for high volume production
• Create CM#, article in ECV
• Organize, maintain, track fabric sample order information
• Maintain and distribute a chart to communicate fabric information for core & seasonal articles including price, article name & CM#
• Accurate follow up with overseas mills for delivery timeline
• Possess an awareness of the product development timeline and understand how their function relates to the big picture
• Proactively communicate with the team and cross functional partners about delivery, shipping distribution and any issues regarding late deliveries
• Maintain and organize an efficient Fabric library as well as archiving system that includes development folders and article masters.
• Maintain clear communications within the internal and external teams.
