Major Responsibilities:
* Facilitating non-clinical and leadership in-person and virtual
based courses and programs, for all staff and management team
members.
* Designing and developing creative, high-quality, interactive ILT
(Instructor Lead Training) and VILT (Virtually Instructor Led
Training) experiences.
* Engaging participants through interactive discussions and various
group activities.
* Managing the creation and implementation of agendas and lesson
plans, facilitator presentations and guides, participant workbooks,
practical activities, handouts, and post-training evaluations.
* Partnering with Learning and Development Team to continually
evaluate and enhance course content and materials, based on
objective data and through various feedback channels.
* Handling the coordination and scheduling of learning and
development courses and programs.
* Analyzing and assessing learning and development needs across
Summit Health.
* Understanding of group dynamics and adult learning
principles.
* Staying up to date with industry training and development best
practices.
* Providing design and development support as needed, for other
learning and development programs, projects, and initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 3+ years of learning and development experience
* 2+ years of experience developing and implementing successful,
enterprise-wide organizational learning and development programs,
preferably in a healthcare, biotech, or pharma environment
* 2+ years of experience in instructional design/course
development
* Bachelor's degree in organizational development, business,
education, or related field preferred
* Knowledge and experience applying adult learning principles to
design, implement and deliver learning solutions
* Organize, conduct, and evaluate internal training programs
* Building positive relationships and communication channels with
other teams and departments
* Strong facilitation presentation skills, including one-to-one,
small, and large group settings
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing
priorities
* Flexible and adaptable; able to embrace and champion change on
short notice
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
simultaneously
* Strong aptitude for detail, analytical
* Ability to work independently required
* Strong computer skills (knowledge of a PC, Microsoft Office
programs)
* Ability to travel between NY and NJ office locations and training
hubs
