A philosophy that balances personal lifestyles, perspectives and needs is an important part of our culture.The Infrastructure Data Security group seeks a Vice President to support its efforts to ensure that sensitive Wealth Management data is protected at every point in its lifecycle. As the Firm embraces new technologies and integrates its recent acquisitions, a whole host of risks and opportunities present themselves. The Infrastructure Data Security group provides internal expertise for business stakeholders to properly understand these tradeoffs, establish effective control requirements, monitor and validate such controls, and evaluate a highly variable threat landscape to properly calibrate a security posture. The Vice President position will support the group's mission by leading initiatives to: * Enhance controls around all high priority Wealth Management hardware, networks, applications, and users * Complete deep dive reviews of key control areas of focus * Validate data deletion and hardware decommissioning procedures and standards * Work with recently acquired businesses to ensure a consistent data security standard * Identify, develop, and implement process and programmatic efficiencies * Develop and implement solutions to improve automation of asset inventory * Develop and collect metrics to track projects, providing trend analysis for Firm leadership * Analyze infrastructure configurations and identify de-risking opportunities * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field * 7 years of relevant experience * Ability to rapidly pick up new concepts * Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to solve open-ended problems * Impeccable communication skills, both written and oral * Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to swiftly transition between projects and tasks * Intrinsic curiosity and an eagerness to learn new technologies and skills * Experience conceiving and implementing novel solutions to problems * Familiarity with data analysis and scripting language experience * Familiarity with major networking technologies like OSI model, VPNs, VLANsThis role requires that all successful applicants be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment and provide proof of such vaccinations within 3 days of commencement of employment. **Job:** **Wealth Management* **Title:** *Data Security Specialist* **Location:** *New York-New York* **Requisition ID:** *3191024* **Other Locations:** *Americas-United States of America-New York-Purchase*
