Job Description:

The Specialist I is responsible for development of long-term, sustainable and effective relationships with Este's complex customers to ensure a seamless shipment-to-cash experience.

  • Establish and maintain a healthy business relationship with the company's complex customers
  • Manage the alignment of customer business requirements with Estes back office processes and systems, resulting in a seamless shipment-to-cash experience
  • Maintain regular collaboration with external customers and internal Estes business units as it relates to problem identification, creation and management of solutions that meet customer needs to mitigate risk and ensure health of accounts and long-term customer relationships
  • Manage solutions in order to maintain healthy AR for each customer in portfolio
  • Provide leadership and direction to other departments as it relates to the design and compliance around procedures and policies that influence the health of the shipment-to-cash experience for each customer in his or her portfolio
  • Responsible for providing guidance and making decisions critical to customer AR, including but not limited to payment processes, invoicing and rate requirements
  • Quantify and communicate AR issues to sales/management with recommendations for resolution
  • Regular attendance is required.

    • High School or General Education Degree (GED), or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. A Bachelor's Degree from a four-year university preferred.
    • Minimum of 1 year experience in applicable areas such as customer service, sales, cash application, etc. and 1 year payment services experience required
    • Excellent written, verbal, listening and presentation communication skills required
    • Working knowledge of AS400 preferred
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required Knowledge of SQL and relational databases like MS Access a plus
    • Ability to identify problems, recommend and implement sustainable solutions in collaboration with team members and management
    • Ability to network across department in collaboration with others to resolve issues
    • Travel required based on business needs
    • Must be highly organized and motivated
    • High intellectual curiosity and problem solving nature
    • Must be able to lift approximately 20 lbs., or more if required by the essential functions of the job
    • Must be able to comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct
    • Must be able to interact well with others
    • Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting
    • Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities
    • Responds well to questions; Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines
    • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check
