Your JobThe Indeed UX team is a multidisciplinary team of interaction, visual, content and brand designers, writers, researchers, and design engineers. We are looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer to join our growing, multidisciplinary team focusing on segmented job seeker experiences. Our work integrates with many teams across Indeed and requires highly technical and flexible thinkers with excellent communication skills. You'll be responsible for driving collaboration with teams across the organization to improve job seeker (and some employer-facing) products so that every user feels that Indeed is the right place for them to get the best job. You will ship job seeker-facing UX improvements to our products as well as lead the UX improvements to the internal tools and platforms that enable them.Your primary responsibilitiesRaise the bar with high-fidelity designs that define the user experience and user interface for new and existing features across Indeed productsUnderstand and articulate the information architecture, workflows, and processes surrounding the user experienceCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deeply understand user needs, objectives, and technical constraints to identify viable solutions, while being able to demonstrate the impact our changes have in achieving business objectivesPartner with UX Research to understand user needs and to validate designs through qualitative researchLead design discussions and design reviews with the ability to continually improve quality across our products and user experiencePartner with a variety of disciplines, including product management, UX research, content strategy, engineering, taxonomy and product scienceWho You AreBachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Information Design, Graphic Design, or a related design or behavioral science discipline, or equivalent experience5+ years professional experience working in product user experience. Experience working on a cross-functional team in an enterprise environment is a plusA portfolio that demonstrates strength in interaction and visual design, and experience designing modern, usable interactions and UIs, highlighting your process and design solutionsKnowledgeable in both generative and evaluative UX research and experience working in a startup environment with a focus on speed-to-shipExperience with mobile-first experiences and design systems, with a demonstrated ability to think systemically through end-to-end solutions with a strong user-centered approachAbility to collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders, while building positive relationships across disciplinesAbility to work independently and autonomously while delivering impactful outcomes and resultsExperience designing for internal tools or enterprise web-based products is a plusWho we areWe are a fast-moving, data-driven UX team building the most popular job site on the planet. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
