Job Description:

The Company

Christie's, the world's largest Art Business, is an incredibly exciting and enriching place to start or continue your career. Whether you work within one of our Specialist Art Departments or in our more Operational-focused teams, we are all working together with one common goal in mind: to continue the success of this 250-year-old company, steeped in history, bringing constant innovation whilst not forgetting our age old values: Passionate Expertise, Exceptional Client Service, Teamwork, Integrity, Business Judgement and Innovation. Colleagues across all departments are truly passionate about what they do and it is constantly inspiring to work with industry leaders across all segments of the business.

The Role

Christie's is delighted to broaden our search for fresh, diverse and skilled talent to participate in our offerings. In an effort to cultivate new talent and nurture long-standing relationships, whilst also putting steam behind our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion efforts, we are actively seeking students who bring a variety of unique perspectives and backgrounds to Christie's to participate in our newly imagined Christie's Internship Program. This internship program will run from Tuesday, September 6, 2022 - Friday, June 9, 2023. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) paid opportunity for students who have recently graduated (within two years of either undergrad or a graduate program).

Christie's has been a leader in working with museums and non-profit institutions for over three decades. We were the first auction house to create a Museum Services department dedicated to serving these organizations' unique needs. Our experienced team partners with institutions large and small, including historical societies, libraries, universities and art museums-both encyclopedic and niche in scope. We handle projects of every size and subject matter, from single objects to large collections, from antiquities to historical manuscripts, from decorative arts to contemporary art.

We have been honored to play a role in helping institutions shape their collections through acquisitions and are proud to partner with them to achieve exceptional results for their works offered at auction or through private sales. We are also committed to working with our institutional clients to cultivate their patrons through educational events and programming.
