Job Description:

In this position, you will be the Local Head of Human Resources for the New York City office of an international financial services firm. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manage all aspects of local Human Resources: Establish local HR priorities; work closely with the Local management team to support the firm's goals and objectives; advise managers and staff; keep current with labor laws; handle all aspects of human resources including employee relations, payroll, corporate health insurance and benefits, performance management, compensation, recruiting, on-boarding, employee events, visa and immigration, terminations, office management and other HR related tasks as required. - Liaison with global Human Resources team: Work with global Human Resources team to roll-out and implement global HR initiatives/processes and to align local goals with global objectives. - Payroll: Prepare the bi-weekly payroll, ensuring all changes including new hires, terminations, employee transfers, timecards, bonuses, and other special payments are input into the system properly, and all staff are paid on-time and accurately. Coordinate with payroll vendor (ADP) as needed. Assist with audits. - Benefits: Coordinate with the health insurance broker and health care providers to manage the benefits enrollment process for medical, dental, vision, 401k, etc. Submit required information to benefits providers for new hires, changes and separations. Handle benefits related questions from employees. - Office Management: Manage/Coordinate with Building Property Management staff, office cleaning, ordering supplies, etc. Coordinate general office liability insurance, worker's compensation, Fidelity Bond, etc. Supervise and train Administrative staff. Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in all aspects of Human Resources such as Employee Relations, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Performance Management, Compensation, etc.
