JOB DESCRIPTIONPOSITION: Public Service REPORTS TO: Director of Public Service STATUS: Full-time, Non- Exempt, Hybrid Work Environment SUMMARY: Brooklyn Law School is a distinguished, independent law school located in Brooklyn Heights, New York with a workforce of under 200 employees. The School is searching for a Program Coordinator to provide administrative support to the Executive Director of the Public Service Law Center and the office of public service.ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Coordinate the of scheduling of meetings, travel arrangements, and time sheet approvals for the directors of the Public Service Law CenterSupport the organization by monitoring the pro bono program, and ensuring pro bono deadlines are metManage the submission and follow-up on all Brooklyn Law School Graduate Fellowship and Sparer Fellowship financial forms and payment requestsProvide administrative support to the Executive Director of the Public Service Law Center and Director of Community Engagement by maintaining records, updating social media and web materials, prepare news letters, answering calls and inquiries, and preparing internal and external communicationsServe as contact for the public service office with and other administrative departments such as Finance, the General Counsel's Office, Facilities, IT, AV, and outside vendorsMonitor, reconcile, and assist with fiscal administration for the department including, but not limited to, the department budget, office expenses, and invoicesManage and update the departments shared files and documents while maintaining confidentiality and discretionProvide notary public servicesAny other duties assigned QUALIFICATIONS:A Bachelor's degreeMinimum of 2 years related work experience is requiredStrong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work within a teamAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and execute tasksStrong commitment to meeting deadlinesStrong interpersonal skills the ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentialityStrong facility with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Reader, and OutlookExperience in higher education or non-profit organizations Brooklyn Law School is an equal opportunity employer.
