The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking full-time Gastroenterologists to join its practices in Manhattan!
Mount Sinai Beth Israel (General Gastroenterology):
This physician will be an integral member of the Division of Gastroenterology, and will work closely with the Mount Sinai Beth Israel Chief of Gastroenterology. This position will include a faculty appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine. Responsibilities include: 26 weeks annually providing inpatient consults for the GI consult service, performing general endoscopic inpatient procedures, supervision and teaching of Mount Sinai Beth Israel gastroenterology fellows, call coverage, along with various administrative responsibilities. Ambulatory endoscopy is performed in our hospital-based unit . Mount Sinai Doctors - East 34th Street:
The 34th Street District is comprised of 31 busy blocks in the heart of Manhattan. It is a working district, with over 100,000 office workers coming in daily. It is a gateway to the city for visitors from New Jersey, Long Island, and the entire eastern seaboard. It is a magnet for tourists and fans of music and sports. In addition, of course, it is one of the greatest shopping districts in New York.
52 West 8th Street in Greenwich Village:
This site is an established multi-specialty practice with easy access to the subway. While working in conjunction with several other PCPs and specialists, as well as administrative staff members, the ideal candidates will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction. In addition, we would like our talented physician candidates to have a passion for outpatient medicine and be fully committed to mission of Mount Sinai Health System. Greenwich Village in Lower Manhattan has become one of the most desirable sections in which to live. Home to quaint tree-lined streets, tons of restaurants, bars, and cafs, and so much more. Historically, Greenwich Village has always been a mecca for artists.
While working in conjunction with PCPs and specialists (including the other seven gastroenterologists), as well as administrative staff members, the ideal candidates will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction. We would like our talented physician candidates to have a passion for gastroenterology and be fully committed to the mission of the Mount Sinai Health System. The typical workweek is split between inpatient and outpatient work. Call is 1:7 and is moderate. Ambulatory endoscopy is performed in our hospital-based unit and a state of the art 4 room ambulatory surgery center that is located only 5 blocks from the hospital campus. Candidate will partake in academic supervision of GI fellows in both ambulatory and inpatient settings on a rotational basis.     Position Qualifications:

    Medical Degree from an Accredited University

    New York Medical License

    Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology

    Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve

    Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills

    A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team oriented, performance-driven Health System

    Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
