services. The Development Associate is responsible for supporting
the Individual Giving team at Planned Parenthood of Greater New
York. This role will report to the Director, Annual Giving and be
responsible for all administrative and reporting related to the
Annual Campaign and Peer-to-Peer Solicitor Program. Additional
responsibilities include:
- Provide timely and reader-friendly reports, regular
notifications of gifts to internal and external stakeholders, and
assist in the creation, merging, and mailing of solicitation
materials.
- Plan and execute of the Annual Campaign each fall, maintenance
of systems built around the Presidents Circle donor affinity group,
and other administrative and organizational tasks.
- Lead on the gift acknowledgements process, including
honor/memorial contributions
- Send out timely acknowledgements for donors giving $10,000 or
more annually, as well as running quality control on the entire
acknowledgement process at PPGNY
- Ensure timely generation of letters with the customization
appropriate for Major Donors and Board Members and provide a high
level of customer service to resolve any acknowledgement-related
concerns.
- Build organizational systems to manage PC donor experiences,
mail welcome kits to new members, and help create data mechanisms
to ensure capture of critical information
- Provide high level support of the Chief Development Officer,
including schedule management, routing of inquiries via phone and
e-mail, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Manage the general Development and Presidents Circle inboxes,
working across the department to answer questions and address any
donor issues in a timely manner Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to work a flexible or extended schedule, including
evenings and weekends, as operational demands requireWhat makes you
