Job Description:

Our client, is one of the largest run ophthalmology administrative service organizations in the mid-Atlantic region is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their fast-paced office. With over 80 locations and still growing, our client is seeking a driven and motivated individual to assist with scheduling interviews, I-9 verifications, conducting background checks, and supporting the company's onboarding process. Salary/Hourly Rate: $25/hr Position Overview: The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for sourcing and interviewing new hires, conducting new hire orientations, counseling on company benefits, salary, culture, incentives, and perks. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will also be responsible for supporting the company's onboarding process. Responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Specialist:

  • Source candidates through various platforms such as social media and professional networks
  • Conduct screenings with potential candidates via phone calls
  • Conduct potential candidate assessments, and in-person interviews
  • Educate candidates on benefits, salary, and work environment
  • Manage candidate pool to ensure candidate engagement
  • Preform pre-employment screenings, background checks and drug screenings
  • Handle confidential new hire documentation
  • Support monthly reports and maintain key talent acquisition metrics
  • Develop long term relationships with applicants to create a pipeline
  • Assist with other duties assigned by manager Qualifications for the Talent Acquisition Specialist:
    • 2+ years of experience and knowledge in talent acquisition/recruitment role required, preferably in healthcare industry
    • Knowledge of interview techniques and evaluation methods
    • Hands-on experience with recruitment process
    • Experience with Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
    • Keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations
    • Highly adept to proactive methods and processes for finding and attracting passive talent for crucial openings and talent pools
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Education Requirements:
      • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management and/or similar field is required Benefits:
