Mercy For Animals aims to end industrial animal agriculture by

We currently seek a philanthropy officer to join our development
team. In this role, you will help advance the work of Mercy For
Animals by identifying, cultivating, and soliciting major gifts
($25,000 and above) and creating and sustaining long-term
relationships with major donors.

About Your Team Leader
Caitlin has spent her professional career pursuing her lifelong
passion: animal protection. For many years, she has dedicated
herself to raising funds to help animals both locally and globally,
with a focus on bringing supporters closer to the causes they love
most. She has impacted a wide range of animals in need-from local
homeless dogs and cats to lions, tigers, and other exotic animals
in abandoned roadside zoos around the world. Caitlin enjoys using
her years of experience to help farmed animals and build a
compassionate food system at Mercy For Animals.
A graduate of Boston College, Caitlin resides in Watertown,
Massachusetts, with her husband and their twin daughters.
Compensation and Benefits
Earn an annual salary of $103,500-$116,500, depending on
qualifications, and enjoy a commute-free life as a remote team
member. In addition to a collaborative and innovative work
environment, you will be able to take part in our benefits package,
including no- or low-cost health, vision, and dental insurance;
generous paid time off and sick leave; and a 401(k) retirement
plan, with a dollar-to-dollar employer match of up to 3 percent of
your annual salary.
