Data Architect
Allendale NJ (Remote)


Roles & Responsibilities :

• 
  
• Contribute towards building of Data Standards, Platform Strategy, Data Strategy for the DSI.
  
• Articulation of data standards / technology standards and data strategy in broader forums
  
• Work with data engineers / project teams to ensure they understand, and they comply to data standards / integration standards and methodology.
  
• Test the work developed by data engineers to ensure compliance to data standards using automation test scripts.
  
• Execute data technology POCs to bring efficiency in current processes and against new business cases for innovation. Job Requirements:
  
• Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  
• 10 + years experience in Data Technologies ( ETL / MDM / Data Lakes / System Integrations)
  
• 10+ years experience with ETL Tools (Informatica etc.) using disparate data sources such as flat files, databases, xml files and/or unstructured data & web services
  
• 5 + years experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, Red Shift, Lambda etc.)
  
• 5 + years experience with Master Data Management Technologies (Ataccama, Informatica).
  
• Experience with Big Data Technologies (Spark, Informatica BDM/DEI etc.) is a plus
  
• Extensive experience as Data Architect with cloud and on prem technology infrastructure.
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
  
• Experience in Pharmaceutical industry - Experience with Clinical Trials Data is a must.
  
• Experience in GxP systems - Validated Environments is as big plus.
