It has been created by combining the Wealth Management businesses across Citi Global Consumer Bank and Citi Private Bank. - It serves over 500,000 clients through its global footprint in Asia, EMEA, Mexico, and North America.Citi Global Wealth delivers a wide range of products and services covering capital markets, managed investments, portfolio management, trust and estate planning, investment finance and banking. - By building on the strengths and capabilities across Citi, we intend to transform the way we serve clients across the wealth spectrum, delivering the full range of high tech and high touch capabilities Citi can offer, and ultimately help them achieve their goals.Citi Global Wealth propositions are delivered via tailored offerings across the Citigold, Citi Private Client, and Citi Private Bank brands.Job Background/Context:The Lending and CCR business of the Citi Private Bank offers a diverse product range including Margin Securities Backed Finance (MSBF), Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Residential Real Estate finance (RRE), Aircraft, Subscription Credit Facilities (SCF), Art-backed Finance as well as tailored solutions to target market clients of the Private Bank.Wealth Credit Management (WCM) is a critical component of the First Line of Defense for credit risk management and works with Independent Risk partners to ensure best-in-class risk and controls, as well as client responsiveness. Key responsibilities of the group include credit analysis, documentation, risk identification, exposure monitoring and associated administration associated with Citi Global Wealth lending activities. WCM coordinates with the Institutional Credit Management function in ICG to ensure full alignment on business and regulatory goals as they relate to wholesale lending, as well as consistency and best practices where appropriate.This position works closely with the Underwriting Governance Team Lead on the strategic oversight of the global credit underwriting process across the regions where WCM operates. Projects will include, but not be limited to, (i) establishing consistent governance framework, relevant procedures, operating manuals, credit templates and best in class processes that will allow to drive excellence and consistency across the WCM underwriting teams and meet all regulatory and internal policy requirements; (ii) establishing standard measures and key indicators to monitor the quality and capacity of the wealth - management credit underwriting processes quantifying adequate staffing levels and driving accountability; (iii) developing training strategy and execution plans to maximize credit officer effectiveness by focusing on underwriter and manager development, and the necessary measurement and comprehensive actions to sustain high performance of the credit officers and senior credit officers, (iv) supporting transformation of relevant processes and technology in coordination with other relevant businesses across the wholesale credit underwriting space to drive process excellence while also improving credit underwriting delivery times. - This position will take the lead in projects involving credit procedures, including operating manuals, templates, and technology.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage portfolio of projects including tracking, monitoring, status reporting toward deliverables across multiple stakeholders
  • Coordinate project meetings and working sessions with stakeholders
  • Lead the identification of issues and drive resolution, including those outside established projects of work
  • Communicate project progress, reporting regular milestone status updates to senior management, presenting metrics to demonstrate the project objectives are being met and identify, escalate and track any issues through to resolution during the project lifecycle
  • Act as point of contact, identify, and ensure engagement of other appropriate subject matter experts as necessary, if skills or knowledge is critical to the successful delivery of programs
  • Use evaluative judgment in complicated or novel situations; uses multiple sources of information
  • Manage issues, risks, scope, schedule, and communications of the project, escalate significant project issues or risks to senior sponsors, when appropriateCritical Competencies:
    • Excellent organizational, planning, and analytical skills, leveraged in a global team and often "virtual" environment
    • Detail-oriented, but comfortable working at the 10,000-foot level as well, with demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects and schedules at the same time
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Highly self-motivated with a "do the right thing" attitude
    • Ability to organize and prioritize deliverables, often with concurrent deadlines and shifting priorities
    • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making, with the ability to exercise sound, timely and judgment
    • History of identifying and working with vendors in the marketplace to customize and deliver solutions within the business
    • Strong business interpersonal skills
    • Ability to manage through ambiguity and make decisions with less than perfect information

    • Results driven, with a strong organizational and strategic planning focus; able to complete assignments in a timely mannerExperience and Qualifications:
      • 7-10 years of relevant work experience
      • Direct experience in underwriting, a credit function or equivalent
      • Direct experience in project management
      • Credit Officer or Senior Credit Officer initial preferred but not required
