Pricing, Group BenefitsIn this role, you will report to the Head of
Finance & Actuarial, Group Benefits and be responsible for driving
profitable growth of the $5B+ group insurance book of business
through innovative pricing and implementing best practices across
all group and worksite products. This role will partner with
Distribution, Product, Underwriting and Business Strategy teams to
develop and implement key strategic growth initiatives.
Responsibilities include establishing the pricing strategy to
support both the financial and strategic business plans,
transformation of existing pricing capabilities through new rating
platforms and embedding predictive analytics, and
monitoring/reacting to emerging market risks and opportunities. In
addition, this role will maintain controls to manage model risk and
ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.You Will
- Be responsible for the pricing strategy for Group Benefits
business - Dental, Vision, Absence & Disability, Life and
Supplemental Health offerings
- Lead modernization of pricing approaches, both from rating
platform perspective as well as embedding predictive analytics to
continuously improve accuracy
- Collaborate with Finance to align pricing objectives with
corporate and business financial plans
- Partner with underwriting and sales organizations to manage the
business to profitable target levels
- Study the financial impacts of pricing and product strategies
and provide recommendations where necessary
- Be responsible for pricing for Retail\Direct to Consumer
product offerings
- Lead Dental Network analysis and provider fee schedule
management efforts
- Maintain pricing economic projection models for all group
products
- Evaluate pricing for new customer well-being offerings and
emerging distribution partnerships
- Improve pricing model risk governance, including implementation
of rates in compliance with filings
- Assist with experience reporting and improve analysis to better
understand how the group business is operating and trending
- Collaborate with the Group Benefits leadership team to ensure
alignment between pricing philosophy and strategic growth
initiativesYou Have
- 10+ years of relevant Actuarial/Risk Management experience
within the Group Benefits industry.
- Demonstrated business sense with ability to build relationships
with senior executive leadership.
- Robust leadership experience combined with strong oral and
written communication skills.
- Organizational savvy with ability to influence cross
functionally.
- Strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to
synthesize sophisticated information and translate into a
compelling narrative.Education
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance,
or a related field.
- FSA designation or equivalent relevant accreditation / advanced
degree.Location
- Primary location is Bethlehem, PA or New York, NY with the

$311,940.00The salary range reflected above is a good faith
estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The
salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the
education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful
candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible
