the culture of fashion.Job DescriptionLocation:New York, NYWe are
seeking an Associate Producer to join our team. The person in this
role will work within our CMS to build multiple types of content
for Vogue.com. They will closely assist our Executive Editor on
digital content lineups, asset trafficking, and processes, to
ensure smooth communication and workflow between our US office and
our global markets. In addition, the Associate Producer will work
closely with our Editor, Executive Editor, and Executive Director
of Content Strategy in the management of key projects, tentpole
events, and other brand initiatives to ensure coordination and
smooth execution of all moving parts.Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in facilitating content sharing and syndication among
our partners and global markets
- Assist the executive editor in helping to establish and ensure
seamless workflow for all global projects and initiatives -
- Build daily digital content, including multi-platform content
and large digital features/portfolios
- Oversee special projects and tentpole event coverage (Met Gala,
awards season, etc)
- Build lineups as needed, create slack channels, communicate
deadlines, and monitor asset management for digital launches, -
awards shows, royal weddings, etc.
- Assist with scheduling of larger team meetings for issue
run-throughs and any other all-hands events
- Serve as liaison between all teams to ensure everyone is in the
loop and aligned (visuals, video, design, prod, writers, section
heads, photo research, copy research, etc)
- Digital point person for Vogue event management (CVFF, Forces
of Fashion, Met Gala). Creates content lineups for each event and
establish timing expectations for assets
- Code all manuscript and freelance invoices in Workday (with the
exception of Runway).
- Code all top editing invoices and ensure assignments fall
within allocated budgets.
- -Create all manuscript assignment numbers in Peoplesoft for
internal team expenses.
- Assist Digital Director in maintaining overall budget, and
undertake required reconciliations. -
- Own and update Master Calendar for the reference of entire
team. This includes all monthly upcoming events; fashion weeks;
celeb anniversaries and birthdays; TV and movie premieres, finales
and anniversaries; Vogue.com launches and big initiatives
- Liaise with the product and tech teams on new site features as
well as helping to troubleshoot site bugsDesired Skills &
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in digital media
- A self-starting team player, detail-oriented, efficient, and
able to problem-solve and multitask
- Basic HTML understanding to modify code -
- Understanding of various systems, in order to implement
processes/workflows
- Displays excellent written and verbal communication skills and
tech savviness
