IT - Sr. VMWare Administrator

Responsibilities:

• This role will be responsible for the managing and maintaining of company technology infrastructure through VMWare services.
• Architect, Configure, Monitor and Manage servers in a timely manner.
• In collaboration with the IT team, work in a rotating basis to provide on-call IT support outside of business hours; and handle level 3 support.
• Manages the initial network configuration of new endpoints including the installation of licensed software
• Perform system upgrades and reliability improvements on a regular basis.
• Prepare documents and instruction manual's for other IT staff to utilize.
• Participates in the strategic build out of company IT Infrastructure.
• Offer professional and timely service for company employees.
• Other duties assigned by Manager. Requirements:
  • 7+ years of IT - Windows-based environment
  • 5+ years working with / supporting VMWare application
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Windows / Apple / Linux
  • Citrix Workspace, XenDesktop, Remote Desktop (all plus!)
  • MS Office & ERP
  • Ability to learn new systems and be an active member of the IT team!
