Job Description SummaryAs a Lead Mixed-Signal IC Designer, you
will be an integral part of a multi-disciplinary circuit design
team pushing against the limits of CMOS performance to develop
state-of-the-art mixed-signal electronics for next-generation GE
HealthCare products. You will design new analog circuits and
architectures to solve challenging noise, power, size, and dynamic
range issues inherent to healthcare products.Job
DescriptionEssential Responsibilities:You will research, design,
and test low-noise, high-fidelity, mixed-signal ASICs and
electronic systems for healthcare applications.You will:
- Design complex, multi-channel, high-performance, mixed-signal
electronic devices that push the limits of power consumption,
noise, speed, bit-depth, and size
- Integrate digital signal processing and control electronics for
optimal system performance, power consumption, and cost
- Transition designs into GE HealthCare products
- Be responsible for all segments of the ASIC development cycle:
architecture design, process selection, circuit design, simulation,
design validation, and testing
- Contribute to vital tasks on technology programs and assist in
transferring technology to GE businesses, vendors, and strategic
partners
- Guide selection of process node appropriate to the product
needs
- Effectively communicate results by preparing written reports
and making presentations describing analyses performed, solutions
developed, and value obtainedQualifications/Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related scientific
field with a concentration in mixed-signal IC design
- Proven design and analysis skills in Analog-to-Digital
conversion and signal processing
- First-hand experience of a complete mixed-signal ASIC design,
including design, mixed-signal simulation, fabrication, and
testing
- Experience with low noise and low power design
- Proficiency in CMOS/BiCMOS designs
- Proficiency in MATLAB programming
- Proficiency in circuit analysis using modeling software such as
SPICE, SPECTRE, or similar
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will
