Enterprise offers career opportunities in our offices across the country with an exceptional benefits package.Job Description SummaryThe Senior Program Officer must be a creative problem-solver with a nuanced understanding of community development issues, fine-tuned organizational skills to expertly juggle a number of projects with autonomy, strong communication and writing skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to social justice. Successful candidates will be strongly familiar with the affordable housing community development landscape including eviction prevention and economic mobility initiatives.Salary Range: $86,300-$92,000Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Lead a variety of community development initiatives focused on housing stability and access to economic opportunity, each of which are comprised of program development, stakeholder engagement, fundraising support, implementation, outcomes tracking and evaluation.Play an active role in developing new initiatives and/or taking on special projects as needed.Collaborate with a diverse group of colleagues, public agency staff, and community-based organizations.Create white papers, program guides, case studies, and presentations.Design and execute programs, including creating competitive requests for proposals, reviewing due diligence for pass-through grants and contracts, managing grantee and consultant relationships, and tracking and reporting progress, including alignment with anticipated budget.Support fundraising efforts including grant proposals and funder reports as needed.Represent Enterprise externally as content expert, both in multi-stakeholder meetings and in more formal presentationsProvide recommendations to local and state government on policies that increase and improve affordable housing and economic opportunity.Manage a variety of public and private relationships.Participate in office-wide efforts within Enterprise as they arise.Qualifications:At entry, Senior Program officers have an undergraduate degree and at least four (4) years of related experience. Graduate degree may be substituted for up to two (2) years of experience.Operates independently under minimal supervision; successfully handles new situations and environments.Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment, often under stringent deadlinesCuriosity, flexibility, and excitement about sharing new skills and knowledge.Experience working in collaborative teams and a diverse set of stakeholders.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.Strong oral and written communication skillsExcellent critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.Attention to detail and emphasis on accuracy and quality of work.Familiarity with the affordable housing, community development, or planning sectors.
