-TITLE: Account Executive, Emerging BrandsREPORTS TO: Head of
Business DevelopmentFLSA: ExemptLOCATED: New York, NY -JOB
OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for driving sales in
specialty & department stores through relationships, strategies &
events while promoting the customer experience on behalf of the
International Cosmetics & Perfumes (ICP) brands. This role will
provide outstanding client service through proactivity, creativity,
and organization. This team member will also promote and maintain
the intrinsic company culture that fosters the firm's core values
of: Transparency, Recognition, Accountability, and Communication
(TRAC) and will be committed to ICP's Leadership Competency Model
(LCM). -RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Working with internal & external
teams to execute sales strategy to meet sales plans of the
company.Drive sales and revenue while promoting the customer
experience, inclusive of Sell-in & Sell-out. Execute coaching and
training to increase associates & product specialist skills for
increased salesSubmit operational functions on a timely basis
including expense reports, Retail Action Plans, Budget plans and
SKU/collateral forecasting. Monthly: Incentives (Spiff, Gratis),
expense Report, monitor retail sales.Uses critical thinking and
provides feedback to the Company to improve efficiency. SPECIALTY
MANAGEMENT:
Open new store accounts by seeking to
promote/cultivate company brand awareness with external partners.
Partner with Store Management to convey the company's initiatives
and brand frameworks that are tied to ICP's message on the customer
experience. Create/maintain Prospective Customer Files. (info
sheet, PPT with images/floor plans) Maintain Master Specialty
File.Partner with Retailers to develop in-store events which
enhance brand awareness and increase sales. Provide quarterly
recaps to the company on overall sales, business development and
new projects.Maintain customer relationships and identify potential
customers through retail marketing plans that leverage the local
community, existing client base, and inclusion of new
customers.FIELD TEAM/DEPARTMENT STORE MANAGEMENT:
Oversee team of Product Specialist
across retailers point of distributionConducts in-store training
sessions utilizing product knowledge, fragrance expertise,
productivity measures and best practices to enhance selling skills
and increase relevant business acumen of Sales ForceReinforces use
of company tools and collateral to develop skills of the Sales
Associate (SA), PS and Temps while visiting storesPartners with
retail Regional Directors, District Managers, and Store Management,
to audit stock levels and the effectiveness of program
implementation, application, and impact of sales training programs;
reinforces best practices which drive resultsEffectively executes
operational functions on a timely basis including ordering
collateral, providing return authorizations, submitting expense
reports, Retail Action Plans, and Budget planning -REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
5 -7 years related work experience,
preferably working in the beauty or fashion industry Strong MS
Office application skills, including Excel, Word, Powerpoint and
Outlook Highly organized with strong attention to detail Analytical
ability and understanding of how data impacts planning Excellent
communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to
convey complex information to a broad audience in a simple manner
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills Ability to
prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects
simultaneously Desire to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced
environment while being adaptable to change -Compensation includes
competitive salary $80,000 DOE, health benefits, PTO schedule and
