Lead Infrastructure Architect \n\n\nSalary - 170k-200k\nHybrid 3
Days in Office\n\nSTRATEGY \n\n--- Create and deploy methodologies
for testing network performance and \nproviding network performance
statistics and reports. \n--- Provide architectural consulting
expertise, direction, and assistance to Network \nAnalysts, Network
Engineers, Network Administrators, and other Network \nArchitects.
\n--- Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network
configuration, \nnetwork mapping, processes, and service records.
\n--- Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of
network development \nefforts and recommend technologies that will
increase cost effectiveness and \nnetwork
flexibility.\n\nACQUISITION & DEPLOYMENT \n--- Plan, acquire, and
coordinate (in conjunction with vendors) installation of in-\nhouse
and remote network devices and appliances across the organization's
\nnetwork. \n--- Conduct research and make recommendations on
network products, services, \nprotocols, and standards in support
of network procurement and development \nefforts. \n--- Lead the
design of company LANs, WANs, VMs, virtual networks, and wireless
\nnetworks, including servers, routers, hubs, switches, UPSs, and
other devices. \n--- Interact and negotiate with vendors,
outsourcers, and contractors to secure \nnetwork products and
services. \n--- Review new and existing network design projects and
procurement or \noutsourcing plans for compliance with standards
and architectural plans. \nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE \n--- IT
Management degree preferred. Bachelor's degree in Computer
Technology or \nrelated field optional. \n--- 9+ years of
experience managing in house and vendor IT teams and systems
\nacross multiple locations in a highly technical role. \n---
Professional Certifications: ITIL Expert or equivalent. CCIE
Enterprise \n(Infrastructure and/or Wireless) certifications
strongly preferred. AWS or \nMicrosoft certifications welcome.
\n--- Previous experience supporting larger diverse teams in
geographically disparate \nareas.
