Job Summary -ClearBridge Investments is looking to add a Portfolio Associate to their New York City based Custom Solutions Team. This team is responsible for creating customized portfolios to meet the specific needs of private clients and institutions while giving them access to ClearBridge's diverse lineup of strategies. -The ideal candidate should possess excellent written/oral communication skills and have the ability to handle the responsibilities outlined below: - -Key Responsibilities -

• Manage various client requests (i.e., account opening/closing requests, maintenance requests, etc).
• Liaison with internal teams including portfolio management, operations, trading, legal, compliance, marketing, sales and client service in order to address client requests.
• Execute trading, rebalancing and cash levels for client accounts; ensure client portfolios are being managed consistently according to guidelines; monitor tax sensitive accounts.
• Prepare custom presentation materials for existing and prospective clients.
• Communicate with clients, prospective clients, their advisors regarding managed accounts performance, investment strategies and holdings.
• Manage client relationships and communicate regularly with FAs/clients to ensure satisfaction with services provided. -Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • 3+ years of related industry experience
  • Interest in the financial markets and equity portfolio management
  • Knowledge of trading systems (i.e. Archer) a plus
  • Knowledge of investment products and securities operations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with teams throughout the organization
  • Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to analyze problems and provide resolutions
  • The ability to prioritize, multitask and work effectively with a team in a deadline-driven environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

    • The salary range for this position is targeted for $100,000 to $120,000 plus discretionary bonus.
