Job Description:

SUMMARY

Incumbent is responsible for all operations at the station. Responsible for all activities related to providing quality customer service for all internal (sales) and external clients of the station - including air, ocean and logistics services support. Specific duties include

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but not limited to:

Supervision of all operations employees - cargo services (Warehouse) and administrative (Export)

  • Staffing schedules
  • Performance Appraisals
  • Personnel Action Forms
  • Employee Counseling and Coaching
  • Interviewing and selecting new employees
  • Reporting daily account receivables.
  • Participate in Hiring & Separation Practices

    Supervise Receiving, Warehouse, Operations and Office Operations

    • Supervise at the direction of the Station Manager receiving, warehouse and office operations in a manner that meets all established SOP's and provides outstanding customer service.
    • Supervise at the direction of the Station Manager operations in compliance with all Security and Cargo Claims directives to limit Amerijet exposure to unnecessary risk and negative customer service.
    • Oversees the physical warehouse and office space in a well-maintained and clean manner to provide a professional appearance to customers and employees.
    • Conduct regular meeting with all personnel regarding current topics applicable to the warehouse operation.
    • Continually be vigilant for revenue opportunities that can be generated via the warehouse operations.
    • Lift up to 75lb boxes repeatedly and relocating them to appropriate locations, shrink wrapping skids and labeling boxes
    • Interacting with local government agencies (TSA, FAA etc.)
    • Other duties as assigned

      PERFORMANCE STANDARDS/MEASUREMENTS;

      Responsible for all reports including:
      • Weekly Operational Flash Report
      • Monthly Warehouse Inventory
      • Cargo Claims documentation
      • HR Forms
      • Preparation of annual budget
      • Monitor monthly budget variance report

        QUALIFICATIONS:

        EDUCATION and/or CERTIFICATION:

        • Highschool or equivalent.
        • Valid Driver's license.

          REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

          • Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills
          • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
          • Must be able to read and understand manuals, regulations, charts, and tables, and effectively communicate verbally in a time-sensitive manner in a noisy operations environment
          • If required to drive company vehicles or motorized conveyances as a regular part of the job, must possess a valid driver's license
          • Ability to follow instructions/procedures
          • Ability to work overtime when needed

            REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

            • Prior Fork-lift driving experience required.
            • Prior customer service, conflict resolution experience a plus.
            • Prior airline/freight forwarding experience of at least 3 years required.

              SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:

              • Self-starter required, must be able to work effectively with minimal to no supervision.
              • Must have proficient computer skills.
