The Group Leader is responsible for assisting the Site Supervisor
in the day to day operations of the School Age Before or After Care
program site for which he/she is hired. The Group Leader provides a
high level of supervision for the children in his/her care and
leads or assists with activities as directed by the Site
Supervisor. The Group Leader works as part of a team to ensure that
a safe and caring environment is provided for all children at all
times.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

relationships with them. Supports fund-raising.

goals, clarifies tasks, plans work and actively participates in
meetings. Follows budgeting policies and procedures, and reports
all financial irregularities immediately. Strives to meet or exceed
goals and deliver a high-value experience for members.

performance. Demonstrates an openness to change, and seeks
opportunities in the change process. Accurately assesses personal
feelings, strengths and limitations and how they impact
relationships. Has the functional and technical knowledge and
skills required to perform well; uses best practices and
demonstrates up-to-date knowledge and skills in technology.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be capable of being on your feet for long periods and be able
to actively supervise children in a variety of indoor and outdoor
environments. Must be capable of bending, kneeling, squatting and
lifting 30 pounds. Must be able to visually account for all
children in the program, whether inside or outside. Must be able to
hear whistle or alarms. Clear speaking voice is needed to command
control of group.
