  JOB SUMMARY
  
  
• 
  Crisis Assessment Response & Enhanced Services (CARES) is a statewide clinical outreach service for individuals with a dual diagnosis of mental illness/developmental disability (MIDD). The CARES clinical team provides primary crisis response to screening centers. Referrals from other agencies and individuals are triaged for response. There are extensive follow up interventions and crisis stabilization in the community. The primary goals are to manage behavioral disturbances, stabilize the crises and avert psychiatric emergency services. CARES team works alongside providers and families/caregivers to help develop behavior strategies and provide ongoing coaching, consultation and training.

  Educational Skills Required (Degree(s), Certification(s), License, etc.)
  
  
• 
  Masters degree required in counseling, psychology, or related field; LPC preferred. Must have clean drivers license as determined by the employer and which is validated by the NJMVA.
