Job Description
Mission Statement
Core Responsibilities
Perform general supervisory functions and serve as a direct support
to the Section Manager and Work Resource Management (WRM)
functions. Supervise Administrative Assistants, Clerical Assistants
and subordinate titled personnel responsible for the preparation,
input, and reporting of work management details which includes but
is not limited to CGI (Logica) applications, payroll information
and other performance and statistical data.
Ensure proper documentation of service contract usage within the
region via Oracle software. Supervise personnel responsible for the
maintenance of field personnel CDL file folders.
Formulate plans to maintain high efficiency in the work areas for
both management and weekly personnel through the introduction of
computer systems; review of paperwork associated with the job(s) to
computerize the same; direct and perform retraining, if required;
determine appropriate staffing, span of control, work distribution,
etc., to ensure good quality of service, customer satisfaction, and
optimized productivity.
Reengineer processes to streamline operations that add value to the
Company's products and/or services. Serve as lead coordinator for
setup and execution of the Underground (Ladder-Line) & OH storm and
contingency response.
Formulate plans to improve storm response and coordinate efforts
with Emergency Management, Central Field Services and other
organizations.
Provide direct support across the section for asset and technology
management, computers, cell phones, radios, network components,
vehicles, etc. Supervise the preparation, validation, quality, and
input of time entry and expense information for weekly
employees.
Act as liaison between Construction, Occupational Health Personnel,
Human Resources and Payroll on time and attendance issues including
the processing of problems related to job content, skill
requirements, training, work practices/assignments, and working
conditions.
Obtain and utilize a Company P-card as necessary and supervise
personnel and provide oversight in the usage of the Oracle system.
Update and conduct training programs for departmental, work
management and personnel related activities

Participate in teams to develop/modify work management and other
systems/processes to help control labor costs and ensure
productivity, as needed. Supervise the preparation and distribution
of reports, charts and graphs (where applicable) to illustrate
performance toward achieving Electric Operations goals.
Assist in the preparation of these goals and monitors the progress
toward achieving them by analyzing key indicators that relate to
performance and by making recommendations on how to improve
performance. Instill a customer service orientation among
subordinates and ensure compliance with Code of Conduct, EEO,
substance abuse, disciplinary procedures by providing a workplace
environment that fosters professionalism, honesty, concern,
courtesy, excellence and teamwork.
Close monitoring of direct reports response and follow-up work
procedure.
Supervisor meetings - review - update your team.
Uniform compliance with specifications driven changes i.e.; CM
process, Permit System, STAR, Central Configuration,
Oracle,-Flagging & Permit.
Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
Required Education/Experience
High School Diploma/GED and 5 Years Experience in a relevant
business or technical area is required
Associate's Degree and 4 Years experience two years of experience
in a relevant business or technical area is required Experience in
a relevant business or technical area is required
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience
Preferred Education/Experience
Relevant Work Experience
Must have strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft
Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Required
Strong verbal and written communications skills Required
Excellent collaboration and team building skills. Required
Must be well organized, detail oriented, and flexible to handle
multiple assignments. Required
Must be able to exercise independent judgement, and possess the
