Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Procurement/Purchasing
Specialist.This job will have the following responsibilities:
Purchasing of supplies, services, raw materials and packaging
products
Work with production planning to manage inventory levels and
material availability
Qualify new vendors and build pipeline of vendors and service
providers
Assist with continuous improvement projects within the
departmentQualifications & Requirements:
An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not
required.
3+ years' experience in purchasing/procurement within manufacturing
or logistics, preferably in food or consumer products
Excellent Microsoft Office and Excel skills
Solid math skills and critical thinking skills
Open to 1st shiftGreat 1st shift work schedule and excellent
benefits!
