Position Summary:
The Social Impact Intern will be an integral individual contributor to and valued team member within the Social Impact Team, working closely with the VP of Social Impact on building partnerships and initiatives both internally and externally within the company, with a prime focus on impactful initiatives, impact storytelling/messaging and liaising with the marketing and social team to creatively and authentically relay the work being done at Prose to consumers and internal and external partners. They will work in concert with the Marketing, People, Digital Product, and Manufacturing Operations teams to build robust social impact initiatives that drive business as a force for good and leverage social impact for growth via education, brand loyalty, and industry change. They will work in tandem with the internal Sustainability team members to build intersectional activations that sustainability and social impact seamlessly. In addition they will support the VP in all Social Impact programming, activations, events, and initiatives.

What You'll be Doing:

• Strategizing, developing and executing cross-functional initiatives that take an intersectional, interdisciplinary lens to Social Impact, working with Marketing, Digital Product, and People teams on internal and external activations.
  
• Assisting the VP in all Social Impact efforts both internally and externally with a focus on ideation, conceptualization and strategy, including coordination, logistics, and execution.
  
• Taking an active role in initiatives from ideation to execution, assisting the Social Impact VP to develop new programs.
  
• Administrative oversight of scheduling, meetings, and emails, as well as calendar for the social impact department.
  
• Oversee the continuation and expansion of existing Social Impact programs, such as the Product donation program, Parents Day, ProseStyle collaborations, and more.

      Ideal Candidate:

      • Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate degree program with a minimum of 2 years of college completed
        
      • Previous experience working in a professional office setting and Startup experience is preferred
        
      • Research and analytic skills required for social impact, CSR, and brand activations as it relates to employee volunteerism, social impact, and philanthropic initiatives at Prose.
        
      • Teamwork and administrative support skills highly preferred
        
      • Experience with event planning
        
      • Proven ability to set priorities, create timelines and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
        
      • Proven ability to work well cross-functionally, influence stakeholders, and synthesize information and creative feedback from diverse stakeholders
        
      • A strong desire to work and be around creative people and teams
        
      • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
