- Providing exceptional IT Services to TransPerfect
employees
- Responding to support issues and requests on a daily basis by
email, ticketing portal and phone.
- Performing analysis, diagnosis and resolution of desktop
hardware and software problems for a variety of end users
- Escalating issues to second line team members and other IT
groups
- Documenting and maintaining an inventory of all computing
equipment including PCs, monitors, printers, scanners, and other
peripheral equipment
- Provides assistance and training to other Helpdesk staff in
solving more complex user problems. Escalates issues to more
experienced staff or management if needed.
- Installing and supporting Windows and Mac based hardware and
software (including peripheral devices such as printers and USB
devices) Who We Are Looking For: TransPerfect and it's growing
family of companies is looking for an energetic individual to work
full-time office as a Helpdesk Support Team Lead. This is a first
line IT position for someone with 5+ years of experience supporting
end user computing needs, such as reported problems and requests.
The qualified candidate should have good customer service skills,
technical troubleshooting abilities and good communication skills,
both in written and oral formats. This role will also be exposed to
an enterprise computing environment and assist in delivering
services and support to other locations.Your experience includes:
- A Bachelor's degree desired
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems
(Windows 7 Pro, Windows 8.1 and10 Pro)
- Knowledge of Mac OSX is a plus
- Knowledge of office productivity software such as Microsoft
Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- Knowledge of basic networking and connectivity - DHCP, DNS,
Cabling, etc.
- Knowledge of Virus and Spyware removal techniques
- Working knowledge of a past Helpdesk/Support Ticketing system
desired
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory desired
- Ability to quickly diagnose and fix problems
- Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and
work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Good written, oral and interpersonal communication skills and
must be detail oriented
