Job Description:
The Hired Guns are seeking a highly skilled Principal Product
Designer to join a no-code creation platform focused on
democratizing design.The Nitty Gritty
The backstory on the organization and why they need to hire
you! This premier content-creation platform is looking for a deeply
analytical and solutions-minded Principal Product Designer
(Platform UX Specialist) to focus on the unification of this
company's product platform and experience. This is a key role
within the company (aka it's a big deal) that is integral in
creating scalable and delightful product experiences across an
ecosystem of products for one of the world's fastest growing
cloud-based design platforms.As Principal Product Designer, you'll
get to drive the design behind this company's rapidly expanding
product offerings and build something from scratch. The product you
will be shaping is a one-of-a-kind platform that empowers customers
(design teams and marketing professionals) to effortlessly create
high-end digital experiences. With this comes the opportunity to
work on very unique and open-ended use cases within their
creation-focused studio tool. You'll also redefine the end-to-end
creative workflow all the way from planning, designing and
reviewing to publishing and accessing performance analytics.
Working at this digital-first brand is a unique opportunity to push
your capabilities and skills as a Product Designer and impact the
future of digital content creation at scale within this highly
successful, mid-sized startup.Why You?
How you'll know if you're a fit---You have a minimum of 6 years of
experience in product-centric UX design under your belt. You have
vast experience with wireframes and prototyping for digital
products. It's very important that your experience is laser-focused
on actual digital products, not on websites. What does this mean?
Perhaps you've worked on the platform UI for Asana or Airtable or
Squarespace - what the actual look-and-feel of those productivity
tools / website builders is like for the user - NOT Asana.com's
sign-up page or marketing information page.In short, you're a UX
designer with platform creation experience for a well-known digital
product. Plus, you're fully comfortable doing prototypes and
wireframes yourself and leading the UX strategy. You have a solid
background working at digital-first companies with established
digital products. Bonus if you have experience working in a
remote-first environment and a background in B2B or SaaS and/or
No-Code creation platforms. Huge plus if you have a solid
understanding of APIs, SDKs, and platform integration. The Inside
Skinny
Why you should quit your job right now and join this
organization! If you do this job right, you'll get to drive the
design behind a hugely successful company's new product offerings.
It's an opportunity to build something from scratch for an awesome
digital-first brand experiencing high growth. Not to mention, in
addition to a competitive salary and stock options, this company
offers premium health insurance, paid parental leave, and unlimited
vacation days. Plus, it's remote-first --- so, you can basically
wear all the ath-leisure you want --- from wherever you like! If
this sounds like a win-win, get in touch with us today. The Hired
Guns does not and will not discriminate in considering and
