OverviewAs a multi-channel organization, we are laser focused on building customer confidence at every interaction. Because our Sales Consultants understand how businesses work and are experts in marketing with the Mailchimp platform, we are able to tailor our solutions to meet the specific needs of each individual customer. Across all of our channels and workgroups, SBG Sales is responsible for acquiring new users and growing our existing customers' usage of the Intuit ecosystem of products. -Mailchimp's new business sales team is a group of consultative sellers whose focus is to engage and acquire mid market customers. In recognizing the pivotal role account executives play in prospecting new clients, driving sales, and ensuring overall business success, we believe that adding seasoned professionals to our team will bring a wealth of experience, industry insights, and strong business outcomes. We are looking to hire account executives with the ability to navigate complex client landscapes, and seize new opportunities with our mid-market customers.This is a hybrid role reporting out of our Manhattan office.What you'll bring

2+ years of successful track record conducting outbound and cold calls, product demos and managing a pipeline, preferably in the SaaS/Martech SpaceExperience working with mid-market customers; customers with more complex marketing needs and sizable subscriber lists (50k+)Self-motivated with proven success in quota carryingHigh level of business acumen and marketing knowledgeAn unwavering positive attitude, strong drive for results, and the ability to deal with ambiguityHungry for feedback and exceptional at applying feedback to improve resultsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to multitaskCompetitive, collaborative, and highly creativeHow you will lead
Responsible for acquiring mid-market customers and fast-growing SMBsProspect for high quality leads in your defined vertical or territoryStrategize and collaborate with the SDR team to build a pipeline of qualified leads through various outbound strategiesEngage prospects with genuine curiosity to uncover challenges, demonstrate the value of Mailchimp and persuade them to make a changeCreate a compelling narrative that illustrates a new reality or solves identified problems for clients through the Mailchimp platformConduct live product demonstrations tailored to the prospect's specific needs or pain points via video conferencing or other communication methodsLeverage value based selling by providing tailored insights, sharing social proofs and demonstrate ROI to persuade customers to changeDemonstrate advanced marketing knowledge to act as a trusted advisor to the customer -Anticipate possible objections and proactively prepare responses to counter themUtilize CRM systems, video conferencing tools, outbound call/email cadence tools, and social tools to manage an effective sales pipelineCreate a consistent, effective follow-up strategy to convert customers, ensure satisfaction, gather referrals and expand accountsDevelop expert level knowledge of the martech industry, top competitors and stay up to date with launches and product/pricing changes
