Job Description:
A company is looking for a Follow Up Counselor, Bilingual
Key Responsibilities:
Provide telephone follow-up and assistance in English and Spanish
to individuals in crisis
Contact callers, emergency department discharges, and suicide
attempt survivors for intake, risk assessment, and referrals
Maintain accurate call reports, monitor client progress, and ensure
proper documentation
Required Qualifications:
Fluency in English and Spanish
Successful completion of SPC training program and ASIST
training
Knowledge of lethality assessment, data collection, and call
triage
Ability to efficiently use a personal computer for crisis line
related software
Compliance with Agency policies, procedures, HIPAA, and emergency
mental health regulations
