STARR Restaurants is excited to announce the opening of our newest affiliated restaurant in New York City, opening this Fall in partnership with the world's largest global luxury brand. The restaurant - located on 5th Ave will showcase a world-class culinary program led by a Michelin-starred Executive Chef and will be created in collaboration with a Top 20 "World's 50 Best" chef in Paris.Now seeking a dynamic and charismatic Ma--tre d' who brings a lively personality and an authentic love for hospitality. As the face of the restaurant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a memorable dining experience through your exceptional service and engaging demeanor.This position offers a comprehensive package including:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a lead host/hostess role or as a Ma--tre d'
  • Personality: A genuine, personable nature with the ability to effortlessly engage in meaningful conversations with guests and gracefully manage challenging situations
  • Integrity: Strong decision-making skills with the ability to handle situations with grace and effectiveness
  • Communication: Clear and articulate communication skills, adept at providing information and addressing inquiries while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor
  • Reservation Systems: Experience with OpenTable and/or Resy preferred
