Job Summary: X-Ray Technologist - Bellevue
NYU Grossman School of Medicine seeks a skilled X-Ray Technologist to perform medically prescribed radiographic procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Perform radiographic procedures, maintaining knowledge of hospital and radiology information systems, and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, restocking supplies as needed, and notifying supervisors of shortages.
  
• Assist in special projects, reports, and activities, and maintain cooperative relationships with patients, physicians, nurses, and staff.
  
• Set up, utilize, and maintain X-ray equipment, performing quality control checks and adhering to radiation safety procedures.
  
• Recognize medical emergencies and notify nurses, PAs, and MDs immediately, and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  
• Access patient data, schedule exams, and modify orders as necessary, and maintain working knowledge of RIS patient tracking.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned, including maintaining cleanliness of radiographic areas and preparing equipment and supplies for future exams.
  
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • Certificate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
    
  • New York State license or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology.
    
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
    
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
    
    
    Preferred Qualifications:

      Salary Range:
      The salary range for this role is $83,194.30 to $94,198.30 annually, depending on experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
