Partner for our Drug Product organizations. This role requires deep
understanding of drug development lifecycle and expertise in
relevant IT systems. The successful candidate will translate
business needs into effective technology solutions driving
operational efficiency and innovation. Responsibilities include
solution design/implementation, project management, technology
roadmap development, and maintaining current knowledge of industry
best practices and emerging technologies. This role demands
technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion

- Have a strong commitment to a career in technology with a

- The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of
pharmaceutical development (PD) domain and scientific applications
and platforms (e.g., LIMS, ELN) used in PD labs
- Experience in designing and implementing solutions to support
modeling initiatives.
- Experience in process mapping, model selection (e.g.,
mechanistic, empirical, or hybrid) and model development.
- Proficient in application design and development
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and
frameworks
- Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure,
Google Cloud)
- Python preferred
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them
into technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address complex application
issues.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders
and convey technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and present architectural
solutions
- Ability to stay updated with the latest technology trends and
adapt to new tools and framework
- Must have knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
and of computer systems validation (CSV)
- Strong Project Management skills, and experience with agile and
scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge in Agile software development, Service-oriented
architectures, Continuous integration/continuous delivery
(CI/CD).Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that IT initiatives are aligned with the overall
business objectives and goals of the Product Development
organization.
- Collaborate with Business and IT Plan functions to develop
solutions for business problems including defining business
requirements, provide project timelines and budget, develop
acceptance criteria, testing, training, and change management
plans.
- Contributes heavily towards developing a plan for development
activities and translates those into actionable projects. These
include releases, required modifications and discretionary
enhancements to support the application life-cycle.
- Accountable for enabling the business to scale while improving
key performance indicators impacting their efficiencies and
improving overall customer experience. Defined both long-term
strategies and short-term/immediate resource needs.
- Participate in planning DevEx initiatives with lead ITBP
business partners to understand requirements that business outcomes
through technology enablement.
- Act as a liaison between the IT department and business units,
facilitating clear and effective communication.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects,
ensuring they meet business requirements, timelines, and
budgets.
- Support business units in managing the change associated with
new IT implementations, ensuring smooth transitions and user
adoption.
- Work closely with other IT teams, such as infrastructure,
security, and application development, to deliver comprehensive
solutions.
- Ensure applications meet performance, security, and reliability
standards.
- Integrate various software applications to ensure seamless
operation.Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science,
Bioinformatics, Computational chemistry/Biology, or experience in
related field
- Experience (typically 5-7 years) in the BioPharma or life
sciences industry, with a strong understanding of industry-specific
processes, regulations, and challenges.
- Proven experience in a business partnering role, where you have
successfully aligned IT initiatives with business goals and managed
stakeholder relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards
relevant to the BioPharma industry, such as GxP, HIPAA, GDPR, and
FDA regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability
to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Awareness of the latest trends and innovations in technology,
particularly those relevant to the BioPharma industry, such as AI,
machine learning, and digital health.
- Persuades and negotiates effectively with stakeholders in being
able to coordinate actions forachieving the desired outcome.
- Demonstrates abilities and knowledgein being ableto explain and
present complextopicsclearly.
- Participates in decision makingand brings experiences and ideas
to achieveteamobjectives.
- Applies understanding of internal/external challenges to
contribute to the team's vision and maintainsafocus on work in
accomplishing operational goals.
