The Special Projects team is responsible for incubating new initiatives, new clients, as well as enhancing very significant existing relationships for the company. Under the Special Projects team, we leverage our vast experience, market penetration, and economies of scale to deliver exceptional service while exponentially expanding the division. About the RoleThe Project Coordinator will work on implementing new technology as well as strategic business development. The ideal candidate will be passionate about applying available technology to construction project management and development and understand what it takes to get a project realized, while mindful of the financial considerations. We are looking for an entrepreneurial team player who can help an expanding team do what it takes to get new initiatives smoothly running, including establishing working processes for both existing and new projects. The Project Coordinator will report directly to the Vice President of this team. ResponsibilitiesPassionate about growing the division and building the businessAdvance the vision on a multitude of projects ranging in scale, scope, and market sectorExhibit exceptional oral and written communication skills to express reasoning behind key decisionsAnticipate project needs. Prepare documents, analyze pro formas, pull together schedules and coordinate teamsAssist project management on multiple projects, including attending meetings, taking minutes, processing submittals, documenting RFI's, answering RFP's, etc.Manage both process and approachAid in analyzing budgets and cost controlsAid in implementing Cloud-based project information systems for Construction ManagementCoordinate project schedule with external consultants, vendors, and internal teamTenacious follow-up with clients, vendors, team members, and prospectsWork collaboratively with the department's small team and company leadership to execute projects strategically and efficientlyBe a positive influence within your teamAbility to build relationshipsPrioritize and Be Organized. Understand project workflows and help other members prioritize and work efficientlyInvolved in Sales & Marketing effortsExhibits initiative and/or an entrepreneurial spiritActs as an interface between Estimating & Operations departmentsAbility to toggle between the labor force and the client/ownership teamsSales Force experience a plusUtilize various software, including Sales Force, Building Connected, Power BI, Microsoft applications, and presentation softwareResearching and conducting data to prepare documents for review and presentation QualificationsExperience in implementing new technology enterprise-wide adoptionAbility to multi-task with direction coming from multiple sourcesSelf-directed with a high level of initiative and an enterprise attitudeUnderstands the significance of controls systems within the Construction industryHighly detail-oriented and understands the need to do what it takes to realize a projectUnderstanding of project budgeting and schedulingInterested in the financial controls processesExcellent oral, written, and graphic communication skillsStrong time management skills and experience working on multiple projects simultaneouslyby Jobble
