The role of Digital Communications Coordinator is an opportunity to help create and to oversee digital strategies, content creation, and implementation across the organization's online platforms including the ADAA blog and website, social media accounts, and e-blasts. In addition to managing the ADAA's digital initiatives, the Digital Communications Coordinator is a resource for ADAA's membership on best practices in digital marketing and social media and develops opportunities to engage membership with the latest tools and opportunities. The Coordinator engages with ADAA members and stays apprised of trends, issues, and news in the art world to support the creation of timely and relevant digital content that serves and promotes our member art galleries. Responsibilities: - Creation and management of all digital content calendars for the organization, encompassing the blog, website, social media, e-blasts, and advertising campaigns. - Development of story ideas for the blog that feature ADAA members, including interviews and monthly exhibition round-ups. - Creation, scheduling, and monitoring of digital assets and content in accordance with ADAA language guidelines, including posts for Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, and management of website and advertising content. - Engaging directly with member galleries to develop content and digital assets that promote their programs and participation in art fairs. - Management of annual social media campaign, #GallerySelfieDay, and digital promotions of regular ADAA events, including the #ADAAGalleryWalk and The Art Show. - Organization of public Gallery Walk events and creation of promotional materials for member gallery participants. - Tracking and analysis of website and social media analytics particularly after major events and initiatives; weekly reports and recommendations to the Executive Director and development of Board and member reports as needed. - Development of recommendations for organic vs. paid campaigns on social media platforms; experimentation on timing and types of content to drive engagement and affinity. - Serving as a resource for membership on digital marketing and social media best practices, including the development and sourcing of reference materials for members where appropriate. - Organization of seminars and panels covering topics in digital marketing and social media. - Management of on-site tasks at The Art Show, including filming of short videos and live posting, organization of Museum Group tour schedules, and general operational support. - Following and engaging with members' social media accounts, key influencers, and journalists where appropriate. - Management of freelancers and interns in the research and creation of blog and social media content. - Serving as liaison for web contractors and vendors; overseeing the implementation of changes to the ADAA website. - Serving as liaison for design firm on digital and print advertising campaigns.
